The Conference and Workshop on “Biogas in the Textile Industry in Bangladesh – Feasibility and Opportunity”, which will take place on October 1 and 2, 2024 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. These events will be collaboratively organized by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and RMG Sustainability Council (RSC) and facilitated by consulting teams UPM Umwelt-Projekt-Management GmbH (UPM) and INTEGRATION Umwelt & Energie GmbH (Integration).

Mr. Heinz-Peter MANG and Ms. Stefanie ABULAZM-THIEME from UPM will participate and make the keynote speech in the conference and the workshop. They are part of the consulting team that has been assessing the feasibility of biogas in the textile industry in Bangladesh since March 2024. The team has conducted extensive research in Bangladesh through visits to numerous production centres and consultations with industry associations.
